This is the first of many quilts. I had lots of fun making it. Once I got going I just couldn't stop. As you can see the main theme is spots. Just for a change.
That is really nice Andy. Have you handwashed it yet? If you did got any hot tips? I have finished mine which needs to be washed, but I am freaking out as naughty me (cutting-corners me) didn't pre-wash the fabric. oops.. hope it doesnt shrink too much.
Thanks heaps chickies. Cherry you so have to make one. So much fun. Tracey, I chucked it in the machine on handwash and it was fine. I too didn't bother about pre-washing the fabric, too excited for that kind of carry-on. And Donna its about 2.2m x 1600mm.
Wow !...terrific job.I live in Adelaide as well and have just come across your blog as well as a few others...there is certainly some talent here. Cheers Michelle
So beautiful! I'm yet to tackle a quilt yet but my mother in law has asked me to make one for her so I better learn fast...
